I’ve noticed other bloggers posting information about their blogs and their stats, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I don’t have any specific goals to compare myself to at the moment – I guess I should come up with some!
For May 2012
Alexa Ranking: 482,742. Not too darned shabby if I do say so myself. I started at something ridiculous like 17 million, and got below 1 million in April. So, things are humming along very nicely. I’m part of the Yakezie challenge, and hoping to crack the top 200, 000 before the first six months are up. I know I owe a lot of credit to the nice folks who stop by, comment, and tweet my posts, so THANK YOU!!
Twitter followers – I have 25. Not huge in the grand scheme of things, but I really haven’t focused on Twitter that much, so, again, not too shabby.
Facebook fans. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Mind you, I have no Facebook page, so this isn’t too surprising. Eventually, I may do something about this.
RSS subscribers – 7. Well, it’s better than a poke in the eye with a stick. 
Unique Visitors – 619.

I’ve been humming about getting into the Yakezie Challenge but never did and my alexa has went down considerably since beginning the blog months ago. Twitter is great but not as good as FB where you get that one on one interaction with fans… this is where alot of my traffic and feedback come from as well as general internet searches.I think it’s important to hear what the people want to read about and they tell me and I provide it. I get emails from fans daily and that in itself makes me happy, means I’m making a difference and that’s all that matters to me…someone has to take the bull by the horns and many of us have.. it’s whether they are getting the messages we are relaying to them.
I appreciate everyone who comments and re-tweets and now re-PINS my posts. I do the same for other blogs as I feel that if they take the time to drop in and read my posts that hey they are ok, they are making time for me and I will do the same for them.
I’ve had so many people pop in from Pinterest so that’s also something to think about. If you do hook up on FB, let me know!

Mr. CBB – I really do need to get rolling on on pininterest. And I know from your posts that are you very interactive on FB! So, when I do get my butt in gear, I’ll let you know!
Good idea to start sharing those stats. It’s a good reminder for some of your regular readers to help out where they can. I’m sure you’ll have no problem getting your alexa raking down under 200k. I think it will help a lot to get more involved on social media though. That opens up a lot of potential to get your content shared more and ultimately get more links and traffic.
