Hi all! I know you’re sick of hearing this, but wow – time is flying by. It’ll be Christmas in less than a month. I’m sure there will be lots of posts on how to save on Christmas costs and avoid stress!

Alexa Ranking: 196, 125. That’s down from about 206,000 at the end of last month. I have finally cracked the 200,00 I’ve been shooting for.  HOORAY!.

Twitter followers – I have 140 followers now. That’s up from 118 last month. Hooray! I very much appreciate those who’ve tweeted my posts, or suggested me on “follow friday” – I really think that’s helped widen my audience.

Facebook fans. Well – I actually have a facebook page now. But I haven’t done anything with it. I still haven’t done anything with it. Perhaps this weekend I will – I have officially designated this my “catch up” weekend on all the stuff I’ve been avoiding.

RSS subscribers – 22. Hmm. I’m up 4 from last month. It’s progress!

Unique Visitors – 1400. That’s down from last month. . Sigh. Guess I need to start coming up with better topics!

Ugh. I have been a lousy blogger this month. I have been on course, I’ve been sick with a bad cold for the past week, and then I went to Niagara Falls for a few days – where it rained non stop. So blogging has not been a priority and I know I’ve been very bad a visiting other folk’s sites. Mea culpa.  I did spend one afternoon helping a friend clean up her kitchen, her living room, and her kid’s playroom (she has 3 kids under five – it’s not easy for her!). So that’s my one good deed for the month.

Alexa Ranking: 206,820. That’s down from about 230,000 at the end of last month. I am so darned closed to cracking the 200,00 I’ve been shooting for. So hopefully I’ll get there soon.

Twitter followers – I have 117 followers now. That’s up from 88 last month. Hooray! I very much appreciate those who’ve tweeted my posts, or suggested me on “follow friday” – I really think that’s helped widen my audience.

Facebook fans. Well – I actually have a facebook page now. But I haven’t done anything with it. Last month I said I’d do something with it. But I didn’t. Sigh. This just may not end up being a priority for me. My wisest move may be just to get rid of it, but it’s not like it’s costing me anything.

This is my fifth month of tracking my stats. I think it’s a great way for me to keep track of my progress. And send a shout out to all the nice folks who stop by to visit me!

Alexa Ranking: 230, 968 That’s down from about 270,000 at the end of last month. My climb is definitely slowing down, but I guess that’s to be expected. I’m part of the Yakezie challenge, and qA hoping to crack the top 200, 000 before the first six months are up. I started posting near the end of March, so I’m going to give myself a little more time before I consider it six months. So, I didn’t quite make it, but I’m moderately close which is nice. I’m afraid blogging just hasn’t been a priority this month, and I’ve been terrible about visiting others. So – I’ll get there when I get there. I know I owe a lot of credit to the nice folks who stop by, comment, and tweet my posts, so THANK YOU!!

For July 2012

Alexa Ranking: 306, 634.  That’s down from about 380,000 at the end of last month. That’s pretty good ! It’s slowing down, but the fact I’ve been a bit more active (but not as active as I should be!) visiting other blogs has helped some.  I’m part of the Yakezie challenge, and hoping to crack the top 200, 000 before the first six months are up. I’m not sure I’ll get there with only one month to go, but I’m making progress, and that’s fantastic!  I know I owe a lot of credit to the nice folks who stop by, comment, and tweet my posts, so THANK YOU!!

Twitter followers – I have 53 followers now. That’s up from 41 last month. I’ve been trying to get a bit more active on Twitter in terms of retweeting other folks stuff. I know I should tweet when I comment – sometimes I remember to, and sometimes I don’t. 

Facebook fans. Nada. None. But I have no Facebook page. I know, I know – I said this last month and the month before that as well. However, this is a “before fall” goal, so I’ve still got time on it.

RSS subscribers – 9. Hmm. I’m up one from last month. That’s not a lot. Ah well. I’ll get there.

Alexa Ranking: 381,010.  That’s down from 482,742.  That’s awesome! I hadn’t realized I’d moved so much – I thought I’d pretty much stopped moving, cause I didn’t check til now where I’d been a month ago. I’m part of the Yakezie challenge, and hoping to crack the top 200, 000 before the first six months are up. I’m not sure I’ll get there, but I’m certainly on my way.  I know I owe a lot of credit to the nice folks who stop by, comment, and tweet my posts, so THANK YOU!!

Twitter followers – I have 41 followers now. That’s up from 25 last month. I’ve been trying to get a bit more active on Twitter in terms of retweeting other folks stuff. I haven’t been super active in looking for new folks to follow, so that’ll go on the to do list.

Facebook fans. Nada. None. But I have no Facebook page. I know, I know – I said this last month. I think I’ll make that a “before fall” goal. I need to check out other people’s Facebook pages to see what they do on them.

I’ve noticed other bloggers posting information about their blogs and their stats, so I figured I’d give it a shot.  I don’t have any specific goals to compare myself to at the moment – I guess I should come up with some!

For May 2012

Alexa Ranking: 482,742.  Not too darned shabby if I do say so myself. I started at something ridiculous like 17 million, and got below 1 million in April. So, things are humming along very nicely. I’m part of the Yakezie challenge, and hoping to crack the top 200, 000 before the first six months are up.  I know I owe a lot of credit to the nice folks who stop by, comment, and tweet my posts, so THANK YOU!!

Twitter followers – I have 25. Not huge in the grand scheme of things, but I really haven’t focused on Twitter that much, so, again, not too shabby.

Facebook fans. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Mind you, I have no Facebook page, so this isn’t too surprising. Eventually, I may do something about this.

RSS subscribers – 7. Well, it’s better than a poke in the eye with a stick.
